Additional Requirements:

To complete your winemaking setup, you will need:

  • A 30L Fermenter for the primary fermentation stage.
  • Airlock & Grommet to create a seal, allowing gases to escape without letting contaminants in.
  • A Carboy & Bored Bung / Secondary Fermenter with a capacity of at least 6 gallons (23L) for the secondary fermentation and clarification process.
  • A Mixing Spoon, Hydrometer, and Thermometer for mixing and monitoring your wine.
  • A Syphon to transfer the wine without disturbing the sediment.
  • Cleaner & Steriliser to ensure all equipment is hygienic and ready for use.
  • Sugar: 3 kg of granulated sugar or 3.3 kg of brewing sugar for fermentation, with an optional 400 g to sweeten the wine during bottling.
  • Bottling Supplies: 30 x 750 ml wine bottles, 30 corks, and a corker or screw caps to seal your wine.
