Additional Requirements:

To ensure a successful winemaking experience, you will need:

  • A 30L Fermenter for the initial fermentation stage.
  • Airlock & Grommet to create a proper seal, allowing fermentation gases to escape without letting air in.
  • A Carboy & Bored Bung / Secondary Fermenter with a minimum capacity of 6 gallons (23L) for secondary fermentation and clarification.
  • Mixing Spoon, Hydrometer, and Thermometer for precise mixing and monitoring.
  • A Syphon for transferring the wine while avoiding sediment disturbance.
  • Cleaner & Steriliser to keep all equipment clean and ready for use.
  • Sugar: 3 kg of granulated sugar or 3.3 kg of brewing sugar for fermentation.
  • Bottling Supplies: 30 x 750 ml wine bottles, 30 corks, and a corker or screw caps for sealing the wine.

  1. nitisation: Start by thoroughly cleaning and sanitising all your winemaking equipment.
  2. Mixing: Blend the kit's ingredients with the required sugar to prepare your wine must.
  3. Fermentation: Allow the must to ferment for a minimum of 5 days, enabling the development of the rosé's light and dry character.
  4. Clarification: After fermentation, remove any sediment to ensure the wine is clear and polished.
