Really pleased with my new 6 1/2 gallon fermenting bin used it the next day for a transfer. The 5 1/2 gallon bin is good but i made a mistake when i used it for wine expert kit with the liquid coming out of the airlock. The extra capacity will be just right, the lid is a snug fit too comes off smoothly and presses down smoothly as well. One minor niggle i wish the capacity indicator could have been a bit darker to make reading it easier but apart from that very pleased
